Meet the Outdoor Education Coordinator
Emeric Bisbee
Emeric Bisbee loves utilizing outdoor learning opportunities to lead meaningful out-of-the-classroom experiences for students. Most recently, he was the Wilderness Coordinator at Helios School, where he planned and directed nine overnight camping trips a year for students from kindergarten to eighth grade. Before Helios, Emeric has experience as a Lead Instructor at an outdoor science school, a camp director of a summer camp, and a fifth-grade science teacher. Throughout his experiences, Emeric has focused on creating learning experiences rooted in student curiosity and providing learning challenges that students accept with excitement. He graduated from Gonzaga University with a degree in philosophy and is working towards his master's degree in organization and leadership from the University of San Francisco. Outside the workplace, Emeric enjoys spending time with his wife, Sofia, his daughter, Luna, and his two dogs, Pine and Zuko.
