Meet the Principal

My name is Emeric Bisbee, and I am proud to serve as the principal of Russo/McEntee Academy. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Gonzaga University and a Master of Arts in Organization and Leadership from the University of San Francisco. My experience in education spans outdoor education, classroom teaching, and school leadership. Prior to becoming principal, I served as Outdoor Education Coordinator at Russo. Previously, I was the Wilderness Coordinator at Helios School, a gifted-learning school in Sunnyvale. I have also worked as a lead instructor at an outdoor science school, a summer camp director, and a fifth-grade science teacher.

Russo/McEntee Academy is a vibrant and caring community of students, families, teachers, staff, and community partners who share a commitment to student learning and well-being. Our teachers and staff work tirelessly each day to create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment where all students feel welcomed, challenged, and supported. We believe in developing the whole child, academically, socially, and emotionally, while nurturing curiosity, resilience, and a sense of responsibility to our community and environment.

We are more than a school, we are a community of learners, leaders, and problem-solvers. Together, we embrace challenges as opportunities for growth and work collaboratively to ensure every student can thrive.
